Going for Sunday Nov 27 will be 'firm' - hardly surprising given the lack of rainfall in this region over the past few months. Consultation with course inspectors/other clerks of the course took place and watering was considered but it was decided that getting the machinery onto the course would do more harm than good. And the volume of water needed to make much difference would have been huge.
