Please find the fixtures for the 2011/2012 Season. A couple of changes sees the Fitzwilliam desert East Anglia and Cottenham and they move to the South Midlands to host their point-to-point at Dingley. The Granta Harriers have left Higham and will hold their meeting at Cottenham now in mid-March, effectively taking over the Fitzwilliam's date.

Ray, I know it's a bit late now but did the race planners know the High Easter meeting which locally is a very popular and well supported clashes with next years Grand National?
I don't know. High Easter has raced on Grand National day before in 2003. I remember it well, I backed the first and second, Monty's Pass and Supreme Glory but unfortunately not as a forecast.
As far as I can remember this is the first meeting held on a Sunday. I think the previous owner had a stipulation that the course couldn't race on a Sunday.
Just to set the record straight, The Fitzwilliam have not deserted the EA Area, although they have relocated to a Midlands track they remain very firmly attached and affiliated to East Anglia.
Secondly the East Essex Meeting at Marks Tey is on SUNDAY 25th March 2012 and not the 24th as per the printed list.
So we have 19 meetings in EA as normal with the season ending on Saturday 19th May 2012 at Dingley.
