Update Friday 30 April from Douglas Pirie- Watering going well, 50,000 gallons so far and we are very confident that we will achieve good going for Monday.
Watering going according to plan to achieve good going. Will continue watering until Sunday night, taking no notice of forecast of heavy rain on Sunday! Course has also been spiked. Going on Saturday p.m. Good-Firm. Jump landings Good-Soft. Further update Sunday evening. Douglas Pirie
SUNDAY EVENING REPORT - 26mm rain overnight and a further approx 4mm this morning have added well to the sustantial watering undertaken during the week. The whole course was spiked/slotted yesterday prior to the overnight rain
The going is now good with good to soft on the landings of most fences and few good to firm stretches on the flat.
