Here are the results for the West Norfolk's meeting at Fakenham. The going was good. The weather was warm and sunny with racing watched by one of the biggest crowds I've seen at a pointing meeting here in a long while. Perhaps the camel racing brought them in.

A very good days racing with a short priced double for Nick Pearce. Peadar was particularly impressive. Three odds on winners and two outsiders bookending the meeting. One small gripe was that the electronic number board seemed very slow in updating rider changes etc. I won't be at Northaw so this is my last results for the area this season. I'm hoping to race my horse Shrek in the Autumn so I'm looking forward to that.  Two runs in three years so far. I think I'll rename him Cliff Richard as he had such long Summer holidays. Not this year though!!! I wish you all a pleasant Summer and I'll see you at Cottenham no doubt all being well.

you'll have to get a big bus for him if you want to go on a summer holiday Ray!!!! .... have to say i think that was a fantastic meeting today... Fakenham did East Anglia proud with the ground they produced in the dryest April ever recorded!! Huge crowd, and i loved the camels, and think thats probably the way forward!!!! Good racing....and has ended my pathetic season on a nice note! x
