The course was inspected yesterday by David Ringer and Nick Carlisle and was Good to Firm. My aim is to try and keep it like that and we have started watering today. At present with a full sun and drying wind we are just about succeeding ! I will keep you informed
Update Thursday morning 9am. A better watering day yesterday as it was dull most of the time. I have just walked round with Steve Paine and we think good to firm, good in places at present. Drying fast again today.
I finished watering at 6 pm today [friday] and have put 100k gallons on since Tuesday. The weather has not been helpfull but I hope the ground will be near Good to Firm for Saturday.
