Jeffrey Bowles, clerk of the course at Higham, reports on Wednesday that the going there is 'good'. The course drains incredibly well so unlikly to get much softer.
Bob Foster, Marks Tey clerk, reports on Wednesday that the going is 'soft'. No standing water and coping well with the recent rain - the course was very dry beforehand and Bob drove his non four-wheel drive vehicle on and off the course without problem. Bound to be testing on Monday but the forecast gives no cause for concern - not that much more rain expected plus stiff drying wind.
