The race is run over a distance two miles and it will start at 12 noon. The National Hunt card starts at 1-25. All the riders have to raise a minimum of a £1000 in sponsorship and this money is split between The Countryside Alliance and Help For heroes. The riders taking part are:

It should be an interesting race on what is usually a very competitive days racing at Fakenham.

All should be congratulated - excellent choice of Charities. What weight are they riding at ? I know 1 jockey who is having to buy a complete new wardrobe as he is a shadow of his former self - apparently he will be back on solid food on 20th. Looking forward to an excellent race.
The charity race at Fakenham today was a great success and raised a total of £28,000 for Help For Heroes and the Countryside Alliance. The race was won by Annie Bowles riding Wikaala with Guy Disney second on Oshkosh, Jenny Knight third on Cathedral Rock and Nibby Bloom fourth on Massapoag. Malcolm Kemp raised the most money individually for the charities.
