Joint Clerk of the Course Richard Wilson phoned me while standing in front of the island fence on the course a few minutes ago.
The course was drying well, then has had 5 plus hours of steady rain until now. He is confident the going will be 'good' unless there is a deluge or very drying conditions. Neither is forecast.
