Well done to Richard Johnson on riding his 2000th winner today at Newbury. I can remember first seeing him at Fakenham riding in a hunter-chase for his old boss David Nicholson when despite a slipping saddle he still managed to get placed. If he wasn't riding at the same time as Tony McCoy there's no doubt he would have been Champion Jockey.
