The aeriation that took place at the end of last week has lifted the racing surface well . The course looks in good order and has a good covering of grass
Watering will begin tomorrow Thursday morning and continue all day Thursday , Friday and early on Saturday morning . 2" of water will be applied during that time to hopefully achieve Good to firm ground throughout.
Due to the gravelly nature of the soil at Higham watering any earlier would be pointless as it would run away/evaporate!!

The reservoir will be refilled ready to do a similar exercise for the Granta Harriers meeting on 7th May.
