It was great to see another Cannon, Tom, sending them all to sleep at the "london" point-to-point today. How old is Tom ? I do hope he is a youngster as he looks accomplished enough to be a pro.
Although a regular at the Essex area for many years, it seems a shame we only come to Northaw once a year.
The viewing is great and I love the run from three out to the last.
Had the wind and occasional rain been absent, it would have been a glorious day in spring sunshine. Nevertheless, a great day of sport with Art Trend landing a 16-1 to 7-1 touch and yet another Turner double completed with a very confident ride on Assassino.
So, i'm a little sad to know another season is at an end, but I shall look forward to seeing the next (not too far off you know is Cottenham) health and the dear Lord permitting.
Finally, speaking as one of the part time bookies, I think some excellent value was offered by them throughout the course of the year and more then just a few quid paid into the Hunt coffers as well by them. We should value the service they provide, which is an integral part of the whole pointing experience, in these worst of financial times.
