Clerk of the Course Jeffrey Bowles reports that the going is 'good, good to firm in places'.
Contrary to some previous suggestions and despite overnight frost, the course was perfectly raceable at noon on Wednesday March 3rd. Weather forecasters suggest that frosts should not be too severe later in the week and temperatures should rise on Friday.
